WHS Holds Hispanic Heritage Assembly

The Hispanic Heritage Assembly took place in the Westbury High School auditorium on Nov. 4. To the audience’s delight, students and staff performed a variety of pre-recorded and live dance and cultural routines which were also made available via livestream on the Westbury UFSD YouTube channel. “At the Westbury High School, being the proud principal, I am immersed in Hispanic heritage and culture every day. You teach me and I want to learn more, and I’m proud of every student who exercises their culture and communicates and talks upon it,” Principal David Zimbler expressed at the assembly. He wants students to “represent your culture and heritage to the fullest.” The assembly was a huge success, showcasing the amazing talents and rich heritage of the high school community.
