Samiha F. Khan, 11th grade, joined The Herald staff at the beginning of her junior year as a photographer and reporter. She likes seeing the excitement on people’s faces when she takes pictures and the appreciation she receives. She participates in many clubs and activities, serving in various leadership roles. Samiha loves to be involved in NJROTC activities as a proud cadet at the Westbury High School and serving her community. From the morning announcements through the end of the day, she chooses to do the right things for the sake of the Westbury Union Free School District and her community that warmly received her when she moved from NYC. Her journey and exploratory challenges continue on.
