On February 13, 2026, Westbury High School hosted its annual Black History Month assembly, bringing together students, staff, and community members to celebrate the rich history and culture of African Americans. The event featured a variety of performances, including music and dance, all designed to educate and inspire the audience about the achievements and contributions of individuals throughout history.
What stood out most was the dedication and effort displayed by the students. They spent weeks preparing for the assembly—learning their lines, perfecting their routines, and collaborating on creative presentations. Their hard work was evident in the quality of the performances and the passion they brought to the stage. The assembly not only honored Black history but also showcased the talents and commitment of Westbury High School’s students, making it a memorable and meaningful event for everyone involved.
